Zelensky lands in Bucha following war crimes allegations against Russia

President Zelensky, Ukrainian leader has arrived the town of Bucha following the war crimes allegations against Russia.

Ukraine has accused Russia of massacring civilians in the town, while Moscow dismissed the incident as having been staged by Kiev forces.

Graphic footage from Bucha emerged over the weekend, showing multiple bodies clad in civilian clothing scattered around.

Kiev however was quick to blame the Russian military, with several top Western politicians swiftly backing and amplifying their claims.

Meanwhile, Moscow has firmly rejected any involvement, accusing Kiev of staging the whole affair to frame Russian troops.

The Defense Ministry said Russian forces pulled out of the town on March 30, with the local mayor confirming this in a video address a day later without mentioning “any local residents laying shot in the streets

However, during the trip which NewsBand monitored online, when Zelensky was asked if he still thinks it is possible to discuss peace with Russia, he said, “Yes, because Ukraine must find peace. We are in Europe of the 21st century. We will continue our diplomatic and military efforts,” the Ukrainian president said.

Moscow on it part said it will convene an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council over the allegations.
