Youth leaders applaud Rep member, Ibe Okwara for impressive representation, reject tribunal verdict
Youth leaders from Arochukwu /Ohafia Federal Constituency have commended their Representative at the National Assembly, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa for his impressive representation in the last five months in office.
The youth leaders said the legislator has proven himself as a worthy leader especially with his last motion where he urged the federal government to urgently intervene on the erosion menace ravaging the Federal Constituency.
They further described the verdict of the National Assembly Election Petition judgement sacking him as unacceptable, warning that the mandate of Hon Ibe Okwara Osonwa cannot be stolen using the back door.
The leaders spoke on Friday during a solidarity visit to the office of the lawmaker, led by constitutional lawyer, Barr Eme Kalu, extolling the virtues of Hon Ibe Okwara Osonwa, whom he described as a “grassroots leader who is committed to elevating the quality of life of the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency home and abroad.”
Mr. Godspower Kalu Uma, Ohafia Youth President, Abuja Branch, added that the quality representation of Hon Ibe Okwara Osonwa has boosted the relationships among the clans of the Federal Constituency.
He applauded the lawmaker’s proactive approach in tackling issues affecting the youths of the Federal Constituency, charging him to do more.
In his reaction, Hon. Ibe Okwara appreciated the leadership of Ohafia Youths Association, and their Arochukwu counterpart in their collective efforts to promote good governance, promising to stand by his campaign promises to carry everyone along through effective representation.
