Popular highlife maestro, Chinedu Okoli, aka Flavour has shared insights into his bachelor status despite being a father to two baby mamas, three daughters, and one adopted son.
In an interview with Bounce, Flavour opened up about his personal life and the reasons behind his decision to remain single.
He outrightly explained that his lifestyle and current mindset are not conducive to marriage.
“I enjoy casual relationships in hotels more than the idea of marriage,” he admitted.
Flavour stressed the importance of personal readiness before entering a committed relationship, saying, “You have to be content with yourself first. I’m not in the right mental state to accommodate a wife at the moment.”
“If I were to seek a wife now, I would likely fail and disappoint her. My personality isn’t fair to women, and I don’t want to treat anyone badly. That’s why I choose to stay single. The worst thing you can do is mistreat a woman, and I avoid that by not committing to a marriage.”
While reflecting on his choices, Flavour noted, “I admire beautiful marriages, but I prefer the freedom and lifestyle that comes with staying in hotels. The Ashawo in me is on another level.”
Recently, Flavour buried his father in Anambra State, with his children and one of his baby mamas, Sandra Okagbue, in attendance.
Though, despite rumors of a secret marriage with Sandra Okagbue, Flavour has not confirmed any such union.
