An old video of Mr. Reno Omokri, the Special Assistant on New Media to former President Goodluck Jonathan, endorsing the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi, has popped up on the internet.
In the video, Mr. Omokri was seen describing Mr. Peter Obi as “the best president of Nigerian origin”.
He also said: “Peter Obi will absolutely make a fabulous president.
“If Peter Obi will be made the president of Nigeria, then Nigeria will become just like Dubai in a matter of years,” he added.”
An observer lamented that after speaking so glowing about the Labour Party flag-bearer, Omokri is today one of those castigating him online simply because he was hired as an “attack dog” by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Read more.
