Footage has circulated on social media of two thugs being thwarted in their attempt to drag a third man off the London Underground and “smack him up” – by a fed-up granny.
The aggressive would-be assailants had taken exception to how another passenger was looking at them and apparently tried to drag him onto the platform, only to be pushed off themselves by the “hero grandma” and told to shut up.
The incident follows a spate of recent violence in London, with a murder at the Notting Hill Carnival just one of seven stabbings on Monday alone.
