A former Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) Michael Koase Aondoakaa, has affirmed that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, won the presidential election held on February 25, 2023.

According to Aondoakaa, the Supreme Court’s Judgement in 2008 necessitates that a candidate scores at least 25% of the votes in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the word ‘and’ was interpreted as conjunctivitis.

My take:

Dear Obidients, I am beginning to see a grand political design that had been put in place by APC government long ago.

One month ago, advertorial on national TV started. The frequency of airing has increased. They knew APC may not get 25% in FCT and will be difficult to rig in FCT.

The purpose of their intentions is becoming clearer by the day. It was meant to spark up a conversation. But, fortunately for Labour Party this case had come up in 2008 and had been interpreted before.

Trust that in Naija black can become white colour in court.

Now, if it is true that the six governors that dragged INEC to court have withdrawn their litigation at the supreme court, this is another signal of the reconciliation effort set up by APC.

The promise to them maybe, your party and candidate in your state is secured and settled. They know that Peter Obi is going to send all of them to retirement and the youths will have their Naija back.

My joy is that Aondoakaa stated the facts clearly on ARISE TV yesterday with a strong position that the “doctrine of precedence” always prevails.
