VIDEO: Darkness, thick fog envelope Iranian President’s helicopter crash site
The location of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s helicopter has been established, Tasnim news agency reports, citing the local commander.
According to authorities, an emergency signal was received from the aircraft and from the mobile phone of one of the crew members.
Iranian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mehdi Safari told media that at the beginning of the incident, contact was made with Imam Juma of Tabriz twice, who said “I am feeling a little bad and I can hear the sound of ambulances.”
Meanwhile, darkness and thick fog currently envelop the area where the helicopter crashed.
