Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has, on March 15, 2023, released 11 protesters arrested during #EndSARS protest in October 2020.
The release came just as the state’s governorship election, wherein Governor Sanwo-Olu is seeking reelection, approaches.
One of the released, when interviewed, said that the state government left them without money, food, shelter and nowhere to start from.
