Trump beats Biden in presidential rematch, other GOP candidates lose

A new poll has put Donald Trump ahead of Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2024 race if it were to take place now.
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (who is yet to announce but presumably will) trailing the oldest president in history.
Of those polled by Emerson College, 46% would back Trump over Biden’s 43% but would favor Biden over Haley (40% vs. 37%) and DeSantis (44% vs. 40%) in their separate hypothetical battles.
A Republican primary race would see Trump out on top with 55% to DeSantis way back on 25%, and Haley (5%) behind even Mike Pence (8%).
