To cut waste: Zamfara gov downsizes ministries from 28 to 16
In a bid to restructure, cut unnecessary duplication of functions and seal financial leakages, the governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal has signed an Executive Order downsizing the state government ministries from 28 to 16.
This austerity action was announced in a statement by Mr Sulaiman Bala Idris, spokesman to the governor.
He said the governor signed the Executive Order on Thursday at the Council Chambers of the Government House, Gusau.
