In order to protect their first-born children, the Israelites marked their doors with lamb’s blood so the angel of death would pass over them. Thus the name Passover, which is “pesach” in Hebrew.

Do you know why Coronavirus in Nigeria and the stay at home policy came during Lent?
Every Christian should be conversant with the word “Passover”. We appreciate the miracle that came with it, but the big lesson is the simple fact that even when the Israelite knew that marking their door posts with blood will save them from death, they all stayed at home, behind closed doors. No one went to the temple (church) to pray until the terror was over.
This pandemic has shown how rotten the fabric of this nation is, unfortunately, the church, which is the body of Christ is not exempted. Some religious leaders are more concerned with the decline of tithes and offerings than the general welfare of their brethrens.
Matthew 8:5-10 New International Version (NIV) reads :
5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. Of course, when the man got home, his servant was already healed.
I am not against the church, but people die because of lack of knowledge. The building (Church) is not the only place to serve or worship God. It can be done from the comfort of your home.

Nigerians are known for breaking laws, from the presidency down to the bricklayers, bus drivers and civil servants, we are simply lawless! Once churches reopen, i see no possibility of social distancing, knowing fully well how greedy some of this GO’s are. Do not be awed when you begin to see Covid19 spiritual oil and healing water, they are already manufactured and will soon hit the markets ( Churches) as soon as possible.
The Ebonyi State index case is a product of community transmission, only God knows who infected him. Imagine him in a church service. I saw a video of Apostle Suleiman asking the government to grant him access to Isolation/Quarantine so he could pray for Covid19 patients. The God I serve is a miracle working God, he answers from anywhere! Someone should tell him that he can pray for them from the comfort of his home and healing will take place, life is too precious to waste.
Please Nigerians, we must take this serious or the Chinese government will recolonize us when we can no longer pay back the billions our visionless and unremorseful leaders borrowed because of Covid19, a virus they helped distribute!
