A former presidential aide to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Publisher of Point Blank News, Mr. Jackson Ude, has claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was banned from entering Chicago, the United States of America, for ten years over crimes related to drug trafficking and bank fraud while he was living in the city.
Mr. Ude made the claim against Tinubu in a series of posts made on his “X” (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday.
The posts came barely hours after the U.S District Court sitting in Northern Illinois heard the case filed by a former Vice President of Nigeria and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The court process, which was filed against Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was monitored LIVE by Jackson Ude in Chicago City.
After the court process, Ude cited an “informant” who, he claimed, revealed that “Tinubu was banned from entering Chicago for 10yrs”.
He posted:
“Following series of crimes which included drug crimes and bank fraud in the city of Chicago, Bola Tinubu was banned from entering Chicago for 10yrs. He then moved to the Virginia area of the United State, according to someone close to him I met in Chicago today.
“The informant said the information is part of what might be released by the FBI in October.”

In a subsequent post entitled “The story of Bola Tinubu in Chicago”, Jackson Ude claimed that he “met an older man who should be in his 60s who had known Bola Tinubu way back when he was a cab driver”.
According to Ude’s guest, “Tinubu was a taxi driver; he was also “cleaning money” for drug dealers”.
He further claimed that “Tinubu was like the cashier, the banker and financial strategist and consultant for all the drug dealers in Chicago” way back in the late seventies towards the eighties.
Ude reported: “As at midday, I was already at the U.S District Court today in Chicago. I met an older man who should be in his 60s who had known Bola Tinubu way back when he was a cab driver.
“He said he thought the Court was in the morning. When I told him what time the court was starting, he said he can’t wait.
“Before he left, we chatted. He didn’t know my interests but just felt comfortable chatting. He said Tinubu’s story is well known amongst older Nigerians in Chicago.
“He said while Tinubu was a taxi driver, he was also “cleaning money” for drug dealers.
“He said Tinubu was like the cashier, the banker and financial strategist and consultant for all the drug dealers in Chicago.
“He said once they make sales, they go to him to keep it or help bank the proceeds.
“He said any Nigerian around 50-70 who is still in Chicago, knows the story of Tinubu very well.”
