President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr Idris Ajimobi as Senior Special Assistant on Livestock Development in the Office of the President.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, spokesman of the president disclosed this in a statement on Saturday night.
Idris appointment is coming on the heels of the recent establishment of the Presidential Committee on Livestock Reforms and the creation of the Ministry of Livestock Development.
“The President aims to leverage Nigeria’s agricultural potential, particularly in animal husbandry, to drive sustainable economic growth, create industries and jobs, and ultimately resolve the longstanding conflicts between farmers and herders,” the statement read
