A human rights activist and author, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, has congratulated the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Orji, for receiving The Sun Newspaper Awards for 2020 held in Lagos on Saturday night, October 16, 2021.

Reacting on the award, activist Paul who stated he viewed the program live on African Independent Television last night regretted not being invited, stressing that the award is well deserved.

The rights activist described Chinedum Orji as a humble soul, dependable son of Ibeku, silent achiever, direct- touch of human capital and infrastructural developer and a forgiver of his adversaries and perceived enemies.

He added that despite being his friend and admirer, he never knew that the Abia Speaker deeply loves sports to the extent of building numerous football stadia in Abia State without publicity until it was exposed by the Sunnewspaper during the award.
