Attached below is the official Supreme Court of Nigeria document that slated Thursday, October 25, for the ruling on the appeals brought by the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, against the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dr Awemeri Festus Akande, the Supreme Court’s Director of Press and Information, confirmed the new date on Wednesday.
He stated that suitable security measures have been put in place to prevent security breaches both inside and outside the courthouse.
Mr. Peter Obi and his PDP counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar had challenged the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the last election which was affirmed by the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) which sat at the Appeal Court.
