Reacting to the latest discovery involving the two braziers, Mr. Johnny Igbokwe, in a piece titled “Diezani Madueke’s breasts“, said:
“They say these sapphire and diamond- studded bras belong to a former Nigerian Minister of Petroleum Diezani Allison-Madueke.
“Reportedly worth $12.5 million and $10.6 million respectively, they are alleged to have been acquired with money stolen from the Nigerian government.
“They are seized and now are on Nigeria’s auction block!
“This level of greed puts Imelda Marcos of the Philippines to shame!
“But my real thought as I write this is I wanna “see” the pair of breasts that are worthy of this multi-million dollar protection!
“Like seriously, I wanna see!
“This is vanity in the extreme! And it can happen only in Nigeria!”
There have been rumours of extradition order on the former Minister but none has come to fruition as she is still resident in the United Kingdom.
According to a News.band report dated June 6, 2020, Madueke, plotted and secured a foreign country’s citizenship and political appointment in order to secure immunity from prosecution.
Documents at the disposal of Saturday Vanguard shows that she carefully planned and obtained the citizenship of the the Commonwealth of Dominican Republic, which subsequently appointed her as a Trade and Investment Commissioner in that country.
