Sanwoolu Dons Igbo Attire To Woo Igbos Support In Lagos

The anointed candidate of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, on Tuesday, was arrayed in Igbo attire to campaign for the governorship candidacy of Lagos State.
Mr. Sanwoolu is considered Tinubu’s “stooge” to take over power from the incumbent governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
Ambode’s JAMB form was dug up by forces believed to be loyal to Tinubu to prove he is from Ondo State and not from Lagos state, hence not eligible to be governor in Lagos State. [See document below]
Speaking with ElombahNews, however, an Igbo Lagos resident, who spoke on conditions of anonymity, lambasted Mr. Sanwoolu over he termed “shameless hypocrisy”.
He lamented that “they [All Progressives Congress (APC)] said Igbos have no electoral value” in Lagos.
