The Rojenny Games Village Oba is now a Public Liability Company (PLC), according to the proprietor of the Games Village, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo).

Chief Ezeonwuka announced this during a Summit and Talent Hunt organised by a group of people running what is called TIIJA Project initiative earlier in the week.

TIIJA means Turning Igboland into Industrial Jewel of Africa in 20 years’ time.

The announcement was contained in a speech delivered by Chief Ezeonwuka who was represented by his Personal Assistant, Mr Emma Anikwe, alias Emma Rojenny.

Details of the speech are below:

“It’s a fact that I am not bodily present at this epoch making occasion at Rojenny Stadium today, but sincerely speaking, I am most excited with what is happening.

“I am most excited not just because I am directly involved in TIIJA Project but also because I see something that is very dear to the present and future of the Igbo nation in general.

“For me TIIJA Project is a prayer answered particularly in the area of the vision to make Igbo business firms out live the owner through conversion of personal limited liability businesses/companies to Public Liability Company (PLC).

“Over the years, I have been lamenting on the collapse of huge business firms in Igboland after the death of the owners.

“The collapse of mega Igbo business firms following the death of the owner such as Ekene Dili Chukwu, GMO, Ugo Foam, Olympic Drinks, Ejinkonye Motors, Izuchukwu, Osondu, Chukwudi and many more too numerous to mention is unbearable to a right thinking people.

“It has been unbearable to me seeing the collapse of mega business firms with Ndigbo losing huge assets and investments including job opportunities.

“You can imagine the number of people that were gainfully employed under Ekene Dili Chukwu.

“I have always expressed my ill-feeling about the ugly situation using any possible avenue within my reach to advocate for Ndigbo to shift from me and sons Nigeria limited to PLC.

“I have taken the message to Onitsha Chamber of Commerce, to government house, to town union meetings, traditional rulers and the Churches and was still counting until TIIJA Project was introduced to me and I didn’t hesitate to grab it with my two hands.

“The hosting of this event at Rojenny Stadium today is not unconnected with my neck deep involvement in TIIJA Project.

“As a matter of fact, I have conceded Rojenny Games Village to TIIJA Project and arrangement is on the go to convert Rojenny Games Village into a PLC firm.

“This said, I want to call on Ndigbo all over Nigeria and in Diaspora to consider the imperative need to shift our businesses from me and my sons Nigeria limited to PLC for us to avoid losing assets and investments including job opportunities following the death of owners of businesses of Igbo extraction.

“I believe that TIIJA Project was birthed to solve a very critical problem in Igboland and what we have to do is to connect with the initiative to reap the benefits thereof.

“Permit me to use this opportunity to once more ask Ndigbo to as a matter of importance and urgency make arrangement to evacuate corpses stockpiled in mortuaries across Igboland so as to separate the living from the anger of the souls of the dead ones that are yet to be buried.

“As the spiritual leader of the Igbo nation, I make this clarion call to evacuate corpses stockpiled in mortuaries as part of security measures because the souls of the dead that are not buried are possessing the youth and turning them to zombie, hoodlums, kidnapers, etc.

“This my findings as the spiritual leader,” he concluded.
