Since 2023 when Reno Omokri began attacking HE Mr. Peter Obi in a furious and provocative manner, the presumed winner in the 2023 presidential elections has continued to ignore him. And knowing PO well to an extent, he will never dignify Omokri’s attacks even with a chalk.
This is because he knows the true characters that make Omokri. Some says the former presidential aide is a charlatan. Others says he’s a common criminal. But whatever be the case, the facts remains that the Warri-born blackmailer-in-chief has always been a crook. Those who take him seriously need themselves examined.
How soon would anybody have forgotten that, 11 years ago, this same Omokri was exposed by an independent investigation to be an acclaimed Wendell Simlin?
Yes, Omokri masked himself with that name of an American just to smear the good image of Mr. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi shortly after Sanusi got suspended from the Central Bank of Nigeria by President Goodluck Jonathan in early 2014.
The blackmailer-in-chief who derives joy in engineering character assassination, propaganda, lies, calumny, and hate speeches had written an email with word document to journalists falsely linking Sanusi, who is widely respected, with Boko Haram.
But the 51 years old goofball was not smart enough to realise that the word document he attached to the email contained his real name as registered on his computer. And that’s how the investigation by online detectives exposed his attempt to smear Sanusi!
Such a man who also speaks with both sides of his mouth may be fooling the gullible with his semantics on social media, but those who have not forgotten the phantom Wendell Simlin forever know better.
As an African proverb had said, ‘Wherever a man goes to dwell, his character goes with him’, Reno Omokri will never stop going to any government in power with his tainted track record. He remains, forever, a shyster!
