Napoli have confirmed that striker Victor Osimhen has signed a new contract with the club running until 2026.
The latest development comes after the newly crowned African footballer of the year, was heavily linked with a move away from the Italian champions.
Though, he stayed put at Napoli over the summer but contract talks lingered into the winter, with his previous deal expiring in 2025.
But Napoli have officially confirmed Osimhen has signed a new contract running until 2026, but this deal crucially contains a release clause.

The inclusion of a release clause, believed to be set at €120-130m, valid only for clubs outside of Italy during the summer.
The 24-year-old, scored 31 goals in 39 appearances last season to help Napoli clinch the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years and also reach the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
