The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, has described the Chairman of the Association of Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (APMPN), Dr. Phillip Njemanze, as a psycho following the latter’s allegation involving a Big Pharma cartel in Nigeria.

In a report published by News Band on May 22, Dr. Njemanze alleged that a cartel, some years ago, paid off hospitals and other medical institutions to enable them buy human organs in Nigeria.

Njemanze also linked former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Senator Chris Ngige, who is also a medical doctor, and other lawmakers back then who championed the bill for the interest of the organ trafficking cartel.

When contacted by News band correspondent, Senator Ngige retorted that Njemanze may be suffering from psycho disorder and does not know the processes involved in bill making.

In a message via SMS, he said: “The man is not normal. A Doctor can have a psycho disorder. He doesn’t know the processes involved in Bill making.”
