Congruent with the Mission and Vision of the OFO Foundation, to enable access to opportunities in all sectors for young people, the Foundation has partnered with the IHEATU Political Action Committee (Iheatu-PAC) for collaborations in public service.
This was disclosed to journalists in Owerri by the Founder and President of the OFO Foundation, Dr. Ugorji Okechukwu Ugorji.
The acronym OFO stands for Organizing For Opportunities, an educational foundation registered with Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
The IHEATU-PAC is a political group that seeks to transform the political and democratic culture in Nigeria, starting with Imo State.
In light of the fact that politics drives everything in society, including the availability of opportunities for young people, the OFO Foundation has reached an agreement with IHEATU, which would authorize and allow the Political Action Committee to leverage the resources of the OFO Foundation for its political transformation and organizing activities.
Individuals and groups who want to support the activities of Iheatu PAC financially or who want to be members of the political movement may now do so through a corporate account of OFO Foundation designated specifically for political actions.
