Recently, nationwide operations led to criminal arrests, exhibit recoveries, and thwarted illegal activities, demonstrating the Force’s proactive crime-fighting strategies.
In Lagos State, Satellite Division officers achieved a critical breakthrough on February 7, 2025.
During routine patrols along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, they intercepted Wisdom Obi, 24, at Abule Ado bus stop.

Authorities seized the motorcycle and items as evidence, detaining Obi pending further investigation.
Simultaneously, Orile Iganmu Division officers arrested four suspected traffic robbers on February 7.
The suspects—Kadir Ibrahim, Ifeanyin John, Oduwole Shola, and Rilwan Olajuwon—targeted stranded passengers near Ascon White Sand.
Police urged citizens to remain vigilant against criminals posing as traders in congested zones. Investigations continue, with all suspects in custody.

Following this, detectives swiftly arrived at the scene to gather evidence.
Authorities then transported his body to IDH Morgue in Yaba, where medical staff will conduct an autopsy.
Meanwhile, law enforcement officers apprehended the suspect, who now remains in custody.
Investigators are finalizing their inquiry before proceeding with the suspect’s formal arraignment.
Updates will follow as the case progresses through the judicial system.
The NPF has reiterated its caution against violent confrontations and urges citizens to seek lawful avenues for resolving disputes.
Taking the law into one’s hands not only jeopardizes lives but also undermines societal order.
The Force remains steadfast in its mission to ensure public safety while adhering to principles of justice and fairness.
ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, emphasized that these operations are part of broader efforts to enhance public trust and deter criminal activities.
He called on Nigerians to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities promptly to law enforcement authorities.
Together, through collaboration between the police and citizens, a safer Nigeria can be achieved.
The Nigeria Police Force assures all residents of its continued dedication to combating crime and maintaining peace across the nation.
