“The French government has ruled out any support for those agitating for the secession of any part of the country, particularly Biafra. France’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Denys Gauer in an interview with The Guardian, noted that his home country would not in anyway work with any group agitating for the dismemberment of the nation, saying his country is working with Nigeria and supporting it as a country.

Speaking against the backdrop of France’s previous support for Biafra during Nigeria’s civil war, Gauer pointed out that Nigeria has evolved since the civil war and that France has been cooperating with the country to overcome its challenges, especially the fight against insurgency.”

No future for Biafra, says French envoy

The position of the French government unlike the French people should not come as a surprise to any dispassionate observer, as a total picture instead of a piecemeal approach of the analysis of this west African abomination, mirage and insult of a so-called country, nigeria, will show. The quote below coupled with tenets of western civilization (survival of the fittest) should explain the position of so-called former colonial masters, since Africa, their last remaining bastion for unreserved continued looting and pillaging since Asia is no longer in play but has in fact become fierce competitors for what they consider diminishing free natural resources.

“But, let us look at one action of predominantly Igbo Haiti. This reveals the IDEAS behind the actions. What they did, after they won their freedom from slavery by smashing Napoleon’s best army, under the personal command of his brother in-law, General Leclerc. Napoleon’s wife, Josephine had been born in Haiti. So, to recapture the place after its seizure by the rebellious slaves was an emotional issue for him. He put in his best, but lost again, in a disastrous campaign that set him up for final destruction in Europe! The Haitians set themselves the task, after freeing themselves, of freeing the African slaves allover the world! They then set out implementing their resolve. First, they invaded what is now the Dominican Republic, defeated the Spanish slavers there and freed the slaves. Then, they made a deal with Simon Bolivar, called the liberator of Latin America. They rebuilt Bolivar’s army that the Spanish had destroyed, gave him a printing press for propaganda, on condition that wherever he freed, he would free the slaves. That set the stage for the freedom of Latin America and the slaves.”

World Struggle for a Just World

Maazi Chidi G. Osuagwu (PhD)

The above quote from Maazi Chidi G. Osuagwu’s presentation should help explain why the government of France no different from the government of Britain is not in any hurry to support or recognize New Biafra, and its reluctance to recognize Biafra during Ojukwu’s deplorable mismanagement of the Biafran project. The premise, and they are right, is that Igbo worldwide will begin to work together  for the upliftment of the Black world, and of course the whole world – Haiti being a very important piece of the Global Igbo world!
