Nkpor PG inaugurates different statutory committees for effective development

In a bid to enhance the welfare of the residents of Nkpor, Anambra State, the President General (PG) of the community, Chief Godwin Amadike, has inaugurated various committees to oversee different sectors of development.

The inauguration of these committees is in line with the PG’s commitment to fast-track actions that will address the varied needs of his people.

The Lands and Boundary Committee, headed by Hon Chibuzor Okeke and comprising members such as Chukwuma Ugha, Engr Benjy Molokwu, Ebuka Umezumba, Prof Obiechina, Mr Eric Okeke, and Joseph Uzoegwu, will be responsible for addressing land and boundary issues within the community.

The Skill Acquisition Committee, led by Mr Obiorah Oddih and supported by members like Chike Chikeze, Pst Mike Ike, Emma Nwanne, Sunday Udoh, and John Akuchukwu, aims to empower the residents of Nkpor with valuable skills that will improve their livelihoods.

For the promotion of sports activities in the community, Mr Onyeka Okoye will chair the Nkpor Sports Committee, alongside Mr Nonso Ibe, Chidi Iweobi, Mr Godwin Okeke, Mr Keluo Chinweze, and Mr Bernard Ughenu.

The Nkpor Entertainment Committee, headed by Hon. Sir Zeb Adigwe Sampson, with Hon. Emeka Udoh and Mr. Chima Okeke as members, will be responsible for organizing entertainment events that bring joy and unity to the community.

Lastly, the Nkpor Culture and Tradition Committee, led by Gilbert Okeke Ajiboye and supported by Adichie Njegbu and Samuel Nwaobi, will preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Nkpor.

These committees have been strategically formed to address the diverse needs of the community and to ensure that development is achieved in all sectors of Nkpor.

The prompt inauguration of the committees reflects the PG’s dedication to the progress and well-being of his people. With these committees in place, the residents of Nkpor can look forward to a brighter future filled with opportunities for growth and advancement.
