The Online Publishers Association of Nigeria (OPAN) was founded in May 2010 and duly registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by a discerning group of online publishing professionals who had the foresight to realize the issues affecting users and practitioners.
They as well felt that the time had come to define standards for the fastest growing engagement online platform in our generation.
To this end, the formal launch of OPA Nigeria will take place on the 26th of November 2015, at Protea Hotel (Westwood); 22 Awolowo Rd, Ikoyi, Lagos, at 10:00 am.
Membership in OPAN is opened to all online “publishers” and “corporate entities” who desire to make an impact on online publishing in Nigeria.
OPA Nigeria (OPAN) is modeled after international standards and affiliates, with specific deliverables to meet the needs of the Nigerian market, desires to deliver through credible research, best practice publishing and ongoing engagement with the public.
