MTN Foundation Stocks Mubi General Hospital With Equipments

Mubi General Hospital of Adamawa state receives a boost as the Governor of the state ,Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow receives equipment worth millions of Naira from the MTN Foundation for the Hospital.

The Governor appreciated the effort of MTN and other organisations in rendering humanitarian services to compliment effort of state government especially  in providing health care services to the  people.

According to him his administration is making conscious efforts in reviving the health sector which was bastardized by insurgents attacks hence the need of declaring a state of emergency.

While thanking MTN foundation for the gesture he further revealed that his government will construct and equip the accident and emergency wards as well as provide fifteen mortuary fridges for Mubi General Hospital.

In her remark, Commissioner of Health, Doctor Fatima Atiku Abubakar, lauded MTN foundation and other agencies for their humanitarian support, adding that the donations came at the right time as Mubi serves as a transit camp for returning refugees from the Republic of Congo, Cameroon and Central Africa republic.

Representative of MTN Foundation, Victor-Orie Ononogbu, stated that general Hospital Mubi and that of Ganye are simultaneously receiving hospital equipment, adding that emergency situation is  everyday situation, hence the need for the donation.
