The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) have lambasted the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for suddenly accepting his Igboness because of politics.

The leader of MASSOB, Comrade Uchenna Madu made the remarks in a press release made available to News Band on Friday.

Comrade Madu noted that Governor Okowa has spent more than seven years as governor of Delta State without accepting his Igboness.

“He always denied that he is an Igbo because of his loyalty to Fulani dominated federal government.

“Governor Okowa in his subjection to the Fulani dominated federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has massacred hundreds of non-violent pro-Biafra agitators and other innocent youths of Delta State in Asaba, Ogwashi Uku, Agbor, Kwale, Umunede, Warri, all in his state.

“The blood of innocent youths shed on the streets and villages of Delta State will avenge.”

Madu regretted that ever sine Okowa was nominated as the running mate to the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, he suddenly remembered that he is an Igbo man.

He continued: “Because of Okowa”s nomination as Atiku’s running mate, he now feels that he is representing the position of Ndigbo.

“MASSOB wish to remind Governor Okowa that Ndigbo are more wiser now. Okowa is not representing Ndigbo. The political stake of Ndigbo is no longer in PDP.”

MASSOB, therefore, warned Governor Okowa to stay clear of Igbo land because he is not welcomed.

“Governor Okowa can not accept what he openly denied. Ndigbo are not fools,” Comrade Madu concluded.
