A 35-year-old man simply identified as Muhammad Auwal has been arrested by the Nigeria Police for allegedly defiling his 14-year-old daughter in Adamawa State.
Auwal’s arrest took place on September 11, 2024, according to a statement from the state police command.
The spokesman of the command in Adamawa, Mr Suleiman Nguroje confirmed that the suspect has confessed to the crime.
The police are now preparing to charge him in court.
