Lagos guber: Court grants LP permission to inspect electoral materials

Election Petition Tribunal, has granted the Labour Party of Nigeria the permission to inspect electoral materials used in the just concluded gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections in Lagos State.

News Band reports that both governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Lagos were marred with intimidation and other criminal irregularities.

Though, despite obvious infractions during the elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission went ahead to announce winners.

Mr Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party governorship candidate had after the declaration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the winner of the poll vowed to challenge the outcome.

However, Vivour who appears to be a man of his words, have taken to his official Twitter handle to announce the latest court injunction as the party finally fine tune it’s legal fireworks.

He said, “Today we got our order to inspect the BVAS and all electoral materials.”
