Embattled royal Prince Andrew is officially no longer welcome to stay at Buckingham Palace.

The Sun UK reported that Andrew has been “thrown out” by his older brother King Charles, and that he’ll no longer be allowed to keep offices in the building.

Sun quoting a source said, “Any presence at the Palace is officially over. The King has made it clear. He isn’t a working royal. He’s on his own.”

The outlet also reported that Andrew was recently stripped of his £3 million-a-year armed security, which he’s apparently upset about.

The source also said, “He is going to write to the Home Office and the Met Police to complain about losing his taxpayer-funded security.”

Meanwhile, in addition to the Sun’s report, Entertainment Tonight specified that the rooms Andrew has been ousted from at Buckingham Palace include his royal apartment—though, according to the outlet, Andrew wasn’t using the space, and spent most of his time at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Sun reported that there is “no plan to evict him from those living quarters, at least for now” and that it’s “unclear how his royal security will be handled in the future.”

Back in September of 2022, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson (who he lives with) were “expecting to be given notice to leave,” and an insider said they feared they’d be “thrown to the wolves” in the coming months.
