Keyamo says Tinubu’ll be back in “couple of days” but stammers when asked if he’s sick [Video]
The All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council spokesman, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, has disclosed that the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be back in Nigeria in “couple of days”.
Mr. Keyamo made the disclosure on Channels Television on Wednesday during an interview on its political programme “Politics Today”.
When Channels Television’s political correspondent, Seun Okinbaloye, raised concerns over Tinubu’s absence as election campaigns kick off, Keyamo assured that the APC flag bearer will return to Nigeria withing days.
When asked by the interviewer, however, Tinubu’s mission abroad, whether he is on medical vacation, he said he does not know if Tinubu is on medical trip.
“I don’t have such information,” he said.

A similar scenario played out same day on another television station, Aris TV, when the Lagos APC Women Leader, Mrs. Olajumoke Okoya-Thoma, appeared as a guest.
The interviewer, Mr. Rufai Oseni asked her: “Where is your principal right now?”
Okoya-Thoma answered: “He went for a meeting in London.”
The second interviewer, Reuben Abati asked: “So how soon are we expecting him?”
She replied: “He’ll be back within the next 48 hours. He has never been away for more than 2 weeks. Go and google it. Look even my little self when I’m sick, I fly out for treatment.
Abati asked: “So you’re confirming that he is sick?
She quickly interjected: “Nooo, what I mean is that he went to rest. Me, I travel out when I want rest too. Read more.
