JUST IN: PDP drags gov Umahi to EFCC over illegal withdrawal of N6.7b from state coffers

The Peoples Democratic Party has accused the executive governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi of making illegal withdrawal of N6.7 billion from the state coffers days after he was sacked from the office along side with his deputy in a landmark judgement by Justice Inyang Ekwo.
According to a petition to EFCC sighted by NewsBand, Umahi was said to have withdrawn the huge sum from five different bank accounts belonging to the state in order to fund his appeal at the Federal High Court.
