JUST IN: Man City win record 4th-straight Premier League title
Manchester City won a record fourth-straight Premier League title on Sunday by beating West Ham 3-1 in the final game of the season.
An action-packed final day of the 2023-2024 Premier League season saw both City and Arsenal take the field with their eyes on the ultimate glory.
City are the first team to be crowned champion of English football’s top division four years in a row after holding off the challenge of second-place Arsenal, which beat Everton 2-1.
Ahead of their respective games, both sides faced a must-win scenario in their final game of the season.
A brace from Phil Foden and another strike from Rodrigo saw the Pep Guardiola-managed side emerge as the champions of England yet again.
However, a remarkable surge in form saw them win their last nine league matches, edging out Arsenal by two points to claim the title.
Individual accolades were also bestowed upon Phil Foden, named FWA Player of the Year, and Erling Haaland, who clinched the Golden Boot award.
Meanwhile, with their focus now shifting to the FA Cup final, City aims to secure a double victory by defeating local rivals Manchester United at Wembley Stadium on May 25th.
