Mr Siminalayi Fubara, the executive governor of Rivers State, has presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill of N800bn to the House of Assembly sitting in Government House.
The bill was presented to the group of four lawmakers led by the speaker, Honourable Edison Ehie.
Meanwhile, the presentation of the budget comes amidst the ongoing demolition of the State House of Assembly complex.
The Speaker and the four lawmakers loyal to Fubara had sat at the complex before the demolition and announced the governor’s desire to relocate the sitting to a secured location.
