A former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode has betrayed his long-standing agitators and friends from the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Yoruba Nation, namely, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho.

Speaking while appearing on Channels TV last week shortly after his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Fani-Kayode said that he is now solely committed to the unity of Nigeria.

He stated that he is now working to keep Nigeria as ‘one’ and that he was no longer party to conversations about dividing the nation.

He said: “I am committed to keeping Nigeria together.

“I am also committed to ensuring that those who want to break up Nigeria are reached out to and spoken to with respect, love and compassion rather than say kill them all.

“That’s my position and I believe that’s more productive so long as you don’t pick up arms to kill policemen, you don’t pick up arms to kill innocent Hausa-Fulanis, Innocent Yorubas or Innocent Igbos, you don’t target people because of their religious beliefs; as long as you don’t do that, you will be my friend.”

“You can remain my friend as long you don’t indulge in violence. We must ensure that we work together to keep this country one.”

Fani-Kayode, a sworn enemy of President Muhammadu Buhari suddenly made U-turn and joined the ruling party.

He had earlier said that he would rather dis than join APC only to swallow his own vomit and join the party.

He had also called President Buhari a murderer and many more unprintable names only to turn and say he is the father of a new and fast developing Nigeria.

His two friends, Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho are currently whiling away time in detention facilities in Abuja and Cotonou, Republic of Benin, while he is dining with their enemies at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
