INEC declares Alex Otti of Labour Party winner of Abia guber poll

The Independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Dr. Alex Otti of the Labour Party (LP) winner of the just-concluded Abia State governorship election.

Dr. Otti polled 175,467 votes to beat his closest rival, Chief Okechukwu Ahiwe, the immediate -past Chief of Staff to Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 88, 521 votes.
