Imo Guber: Sam Amadi meets Labour Party chairmen
Sam Amadi, a former chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has met with the chairmen of the Labour Party in Imo State.
The meeting is coming after he picked the party’s gubernatorial nomination form last week.
The Arise Television analyst in a post on his official Facebook page said that the meeting was an opportunity for him to outline his vision and the roadmap to achieving the Imo State everyone will be proud of.
Amadi wrote, “Today, in Owerri, I met with all Labour Party Local Government Area Chairmen. It was an opportunity to tell them the vision of a new Imo and our roadmap to achieving the Imo that we will all be proud of.
“I reiterated to them the golden opportunity we have to restore dignity of life to Ndị Imo and liberate the eastern heartland from the shackles of insecurity, poverty and decay.
“I reminded them of my longstanding history as a fiery social crusader, human rights activist and an incorruptible public servant. I am pleased by the fruitful engagement, and they urged me to call on the Labour Party to ensure a hitch-free primary election.”
