I won’t return to APC, says gov Obaseki after meeting president Buhari

The executive governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has dismissed his alleged plan defect back to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor spoke on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Obaseki, while fielding questions from State House reporters, said he cannot abandon the party that gave him cover while he was kicked out of his former platform.

He also called for the electronic transmission of all election results in the country.

Obaseki had last year, following his hostile relationship with the former National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, dumped APC for PDP. He won his re-election on the platform of the PDP
