“The truth is that I do not hate Islam but I DO hate the salafists, the wahhabists, the islamists, the jihadists, the terrorists and the Muslim fundamentalists.”
The Islamic Movement of Nigeria [IMN] under the leadership of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky visited Nigerian politician Femi Fani-Kayode in his house last week.
A brainwashed Northerner sent this message to one of the IMN members that visited:
“He hates Islam. He hates Muslims. He believes Islam and Muslims are responsible for Nigeria’s, and indeed global problems.
“He is only supportive because he hates Buhari.
“The overwhelming majority of people sympathetic to the free Zakzaky cause may run for cover because of this.
“But like I said Allah ya sa haka yafi alheri.”
Femi Fani-Kayode gave the following reply when the above message was forwarded to him:
“Thanks for defending me my brother.
I hate Islam yet I supported Muslim Bashir Al Assad against “Christian Obama”.
I hate Islam yet I supported Muslim Ghaddafi against Christian Europe.
I hate Islam yet I supported Muslim Saddam Hussein against Christian George W. Bush.
I hate Islam yet I applauded Iran’s noble role in the terrible war in Syria and their efforts with the Mehdi Army in Iraq.
I hate Islam yet I condemned the Buhari regime for killing 1000 Shiite Muslims and I constantly call for the release of Sheik El Zak Zaky and Col. Sambo Dasuki.

I hate them with every fibre of my being just as I hated “Christian” Hitler and his evil Nazis philosophy and racist views.
We see the evil and witness the barbarity and carnage of Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Al Shabab, ISIL, Daesh, the Taliban, Hamas, the Fulani militants and herdsmen, the Janjaweed and Islamic Jihad all over the world EVERY DAY and yet some people cannot get it into their thick heads that every right thinking and God-fearing person, regardless of their religious faith, must HATE such groups and such people.
They, and not those of us that are fed up with their utter madness and the constant display of their sheer wickedness, are the enemies of humanity.
We have every reason and every right to hate them and many of us do.
The sooner we all appreciate the fact that we need to set aside our religious and tribal differences in Nigeria, close ranks and collectively resist the evil brand of Sunni extremism and fundamentalism that Buhari, El Rufai and their associates represent, the better.
Finally let me add this. There is only one thing I hate more than the terrorists and those are the ethnic supremacists and hegemonists in our country who believe that they were born to rule and that the rest of us are slaves.
I can never and will never accept or like them and I will never subscribe to that deviant and racist philosophy. Instead I will resist it with every fibre of my being until the day that the Lord calls me home.
