“How comes the purchase of vehicles for the Government of Niger Republic escaped the oversight functions of the National Assembly”, Shehu Sani asks
Senator Shehu Sani has popped a big question for the National Assembly over the vehicles purchased for the Government of Niger Republic by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Federal Government had, via the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Zanaib Ahmed, confirmed that it has purchased vehicles worth N1.4 billion to help Niger Republic tackle insecurity, a border country with Nigeria.
Senator Sani, taking to his Twitter handle in response, asked: “How comes the purchase of vehicles for the Government of Niger Republic escaped the oversight functions of the National Assembly.
The tweet reads:
“The question is, how comes the purchase of vehicles for the Government of Niger Republic escaped the oversight functions of the National Assembly.”

“Are these the kind of vehicles they use to fight insecurity?” asked Abia James while replying to Shehu Sani and displaying the super exotic cars:
“Another question is: how does those exotic SUVs tackle insecurity? I don’t understand,” Taiwo Olawale replies Shehu Sani:
