Written by Mr. Emmanuel Ibrahim from Gwoza local government.
I have been following the political scenario of my Federal Constituency Gwoza, Damboa, Chibok, since last year 2017. Several calls on some personalities to come out, come 2019, for an elective position in Federal and State Assembly which is a good idea. Because we have so many good people who does well in their respective carrier’s and they distinguished themselves above their equals.
In the lane of Borno State political history which may change in future by Gods grace; Governorship position goes to Kanuri’s, Shuwar’s or Kanembu’s. Deputy Governor goes to Bura or Babur’s. Senate Southern Borno most a time goes to Gwoza because almost two decades now, starting from Late. Sen. Abbas Dawa, Late. Sen. Omar Hambagda, and our current dynamic leader of the people Sen. Mohammed Ali Ndume. The train keeps going in that directions.
For proper understanding let me not go beyond 1999 historical analysis of Gwoza, Damboa, Chibok constituency, so that our younger generation can understand better:
From 1999-2003, Hon. Mohammed Wakil from Damboa local government represented our constituency at the Red Chamber ( Member House of Representative).
2003-2011, Sen. Mohammed Ali Ndume from Gwoza local government represented us at the Red Chamber two times (our current Senator of Southern Borno).
2011-2015, Hon. Peter Biye from Gwoza local government represented us at the Red Chamber.2015-2019, Hon. Asabe Vilita Bashir from Gwoza local government she is representing us at the Red Chamber.
My question is; for EQUITY and JUSTICE where is Chibok since the return to uninterrupted civil rule in 1999?
Chibok never had a single chance of representing our constituency at the Red Chamber WHY?
I read through the 35 current board list of Federal (MDA’s) from Borno State by the Federal Government, there is no single Son or daughter of Chibok WHY? (you can check the list below please)

Borno Stake holders! does it mean you don’t know Chibok local government with all the National and International campaign of *Bring Back Our Chibok Girls* ? Or there is no single Chibok APC member known to you? Let us leave that for another discussion!
I want to call on Dr. Wakil Chibok (Thank God your surname is Chibok) please come out for the position of Member House of Representative 2019 for Gwoza, Damboa, Chibok constituency.
