Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted dozens of passengers numbering around thirty traveling in three separate vehicles including an eighteen-seater bus and two other vehicles around Garin Gabas, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
Locals reported that the kidnap incident took place on Wednesday with the bandits numbering about eighty and carrying sophisticated weapons.
The attackers reportedly stormed the area and opened fire, shooting sporadically with villagers scampering for safety.
