Today, amidst an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation, Hon. Gideon Tochukwu Eze formally assumed office as the Executive Chairman of Udenu Local Government Council. This transition follows the departure of the former Chairman, Hon. Solomon Onah, who recently took up his rightful position as the winner of the Udenu Constituency House of Assembly election, as declared by the Court of Appeal in Lagos.
Hon. Eze, a well-known figure in Udenu LGA, had previously served as the Vice Chairman under Hon. Onah. Today, with the overwhelming support of a jubilant crowd of his supporters, he arrived at the local government headquarters in Obollo-Afor at about 9:00 AM, ready to embark on his new role as the substantive Chair of the Local Council to complete the remaining months of the current tenure.
