Garba Shehu Is Fair Weather Friend, He’ll Soon Dump Buhari —Fayose

Governor Of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose has described the Senior Special Assistant on Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mallam Garba Shehu as a “weather friend” and will soon dump his principal.

Governor Fayose made the assertion on Monday following the latter’s attack on him after the July 14 Ekiti State governorship election on Saturday.

In a treatise titled “Fayose Is Street-Type Thug, High-Powered Nothing“, Garba Shehu concerning Fayose:

“His morbid brand of politics, it is now his time to reconcile himself to the imminent political extinction he faces, his political career sealed for good.

“Newspapers have mistaken him for a gadfly who creates discomfort for the government at the centre to make it better, but Fayose is a street-type thug.”

Citing an old proverb, he described Fayose as “a high-powered nothing”.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Fayose responded of Garba Shehu:

“On Garba Shehu, that fellow is not to be accorded any attention. Being a fair weather friend, he would soon desert his current pay masters.”

Again he wrote:

“Garba Shehu was in the Presidency courtesy Atiku Abubakar for eight years and came back for this current dispensation still courtesy Abubakar. Now, he has abandoned the person who brought him to the limelight.”
