Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, FRSC’s Public Education Chief, led a key meeting with Abuja traffic officers to finalize implementation strategies. Attendees practiced delivering live alerts from accident sites or chokeholds, ensuring motorists receive timely rerouting advice. “This system transforms how we manage crises,” Ogungbemide explained, “reducing frustration and saving lives through faster response times.”
Importantly, he noted the radio’s role in bridging communication gaps. “Accurate information lets drivers avoid hazards, easing pressure on our teams,” he said. The FRSC also plans to integrate emergency hotlines, allowing listeners to report incidents directly during broadcasts.
