Former Minister of Labour, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe is dead

A former minister of Labour and Productivity, and pioneer member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe is dead.

Gwadabe reportedly died in Kano at the age of 86 on Tuesday night, after a protracted illness,

A relation of the late elder stateman, Nasiru Gwadabe confirmed that funeral prayer of the late minister would hold at 2.00pm Wednesday, today, at his residence off Maiduguri road, in Kano.

Alhaji Musa Gwadabe who was a minister during Olusegun Obasanjo’s first tenure from 1999 to 2003 was also Secretary to Kano State Government during the tenure of Late Sabo Bakin Zuwo and was a member of several board.

Until his death he was a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Board Chairman, Industrial Training Fund, ITF.

He is survived by 12 children, great grandchildren and a relatives.
