The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have kicked host Argentina out of the U-20 World Cup.
Two goals from Nigeria was all it took to send the six-time champions out of the championship.
A goal from Ibrahim Beji Muhammad in the 61st minute gave Nigeria the lead over Argentina.
A second goal in the 87th minute by Rilwan Haliru Sarki ensured that the Flying Eagles qualified for the quarter final.
To qualify from the group, Nigeria defeated Dominican Republic 2-1 and handed Italy a 2-0 win as well.
They, however, fell to the fire power of Brazil 0-2 and bounced back in time to send hosts, Argentina packing from the championship with the 2-0 defeat.
The Nigeria’s Flying Eagles are through to quarter final and will take on the winner of the Ecuador vs South Korea tie in the match.
Meanwhile, the team is reckoned as the fastest team Nigeria ever produced leaving the South Americans stunned as they breezed past with ease and returns with lightning speed to defends the opponent’s advances.
