Beijing has reciprocated Washingston’s restriction on visas for Chinese officials by imposing similar measures on US officials on Thursday, according to a Chinese Foreign Ministry spox.
US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken said last month that American measures were imposed in response to some officials’ role in “repressive acts” against minority religious and ethnic groups.
