The spiritual leader of the Igbo nation Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) has called on the new governor of Anambra State, Professor C.C Soludo and various Christian Churches to effect some spiritual and environmental works in the State to ensure a safe and secured environment devoid of criminals, joblessness, drug addicts, prostitution, poverty, hunger, malnutrition and diseases among other vices polluting and degrading the system of life in the State.

Appraising the new administration in Anambra under Soludo, Chief Ezeonwuka observed and hailed Soludo over what he described as ‘his zeal to move Anambra forward” noting that the zeal is the key to championing a result oriented cause of the State.

The Ogilisi Igbo however pointed out that spiritual work such as casting out the evil spirit that emanates from the dead bodies that are languishing in mortuaries across the State and posses and misuse the youth is the key to results oriented service from the new governor.

He also said that a clean environment would go a long way to bring solution to problems in the State noting that cleanliness is next to Godliness.

Arguing that evil spirits from dead bodies in mortuaries are behind criminal activities, drug addicts, prostitution and joblessness and other vices hurting the welfare of the State, he called on Governor Soludo to as a matter of urgency device means to clear off the dead bodies in mortuaries in the State to pave the way for the youth in particular to be free from evil spirits and be useful to themselves, their families and the society at large.

He lampooned the Christian Churches in the State for their inability to keep the environment where they worship God arguing that the Churches are not doing enough in environmental work considering the high rate of indiscriminate dumping of refuse at all visible corners across the State including dumping of refuse on the major road side particularly in Onitsha.

He observed that the dirty face of Onitsha with large heap of waste here and there shows that the Churches fall short of their responsibilities.

“How can you serve God in a dirty environment or how can people that serve God fail to keep their environment clean whereas it is written that cleanliness is next to Godliness?

“It shows that those in charge of these Churches are not living up the divine expectation in serving God and in providing God’s service to the people.

“And that is why people are dying of diseases and sickness on a rampant note,” he added

He maintained that the corpses in the mortuaries have to cleared off on arrangements of mass burial and the environment cleared of refuse dumped here and there for Soludo’s zeal and well-articulated programs of action under Soludo Solution to see the light of the day.
